Don’t be. First principle is that these are 2 SEPARATE Leagues.
Firstly RECREATION LEAGUE ONLY
If you do do a run and you have a result there are 2 things you can do with it regarding the recreation league.
1) You can submit the run to the rec league. You have a day to do this, so for example you run on the 15th (no matter what time), you have until 23:59 on the 16th to submit the result for a rec league result.
2) Ignore and discard it.
Secondly Full or Off Season League
If you do do a run and have a result there are 3 things you can do with it regarding the full / off season league.
1) You can have it recorded in the recreation league per item 1 above and submit it ANY valid time up until 23:59 on the last day of the month. (A valid time for a full or off season league submission any time of the relevant month up to 23:59 on the last day of the month).
2) Simply Submit it to the full league ANY valid time up until 23:59 on the last day of the month. (A valid time for a full or off season league submission any time of the relevant month up to 23:59 on the last day of the month).
3) Ignore and discard it.
Do not confuse the recreation league with the full or off-season league they are separate. The only thing they have in common is that they can both accept the same results submission. However both submissions have different timing criteria regarding acceptance. The rec league requires a submission to be made within a day of it being run. Whereas the full and off season league can accept runs as long as they were run in the valid month. You can use the same run for both, but the deadlines are different.
One last word. The league builds in a 72 hour grace period for the full and off season league submissions following the end of the month. DO NOT USE IT. This is to accommodate exceptional personal circumstances. Repetitive use of the grace period will be viewed as ‘gaming’ the rules and considered un-sportsmanlike conduct.
